About Me

After achieving 12 A*-C GCSE grades, I decided to join Peterborough Regional College. I then achieved the highest possible grade of triple distinction*. Throughout this course I developed my understanding of my own writing style and evolved my presentation technique. I also learnt about different sections of the media industry I hadn’t previously experienced – radio and factual programming.

I have undertaken work experience as a PR & Media manager of ethical clothing social enterprise Joe&Johns, helping to develop it into a successful online business, featuring the brand in local magazines and promoting it via social media.

I hope to become a sports journalist in the future, and will begin my sports journalism degree at Staffordshire University in September 2016.In preparation for this I have begun writing about a range of sports that you will have seen on my blog! I have featured in Peterborough Phantoms cup final programme, written for various different sports websites and magazines, collaborated with local football team Whittlesey Athletic and interviewed Lakeside star Zoe Jones.
